Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow.

Many of our city’s most vulnerable people are struggling with their mental health.
At The Kettle we care for people by offering practical help, outreach services and a place to belong.

“I’ve never received so much support until I came to The Kettle, it means a lot. When you haven’t felt that before, it’s like wow — people really care.”

Donate to Meet Urgent Needs

This holiday season, make a donation to help provide food, showers, hygiene kits, hot drinks and a warm welcome to people who are struggling on the streets. We know that when we care for people’s immediate needs they feel seen, heard and supported.

Host a Clothing Drive

You can provide warm clothing to those who are struggling on the streets this winter. As the wet weather sets in, we are seeking donations of new or gently used clothing, jackets, boots and socks to help keep people warm and dry.

What We Do

The Kettle Society is a leader of community support in Vancouver — meeting the urgent needs of our city's most vulnerable people for almost 50 years.

We serve a community of 6,000+ vulnerable individuals each year, manage 400+ units of supportive housing and operate a mental health drop-in centre that provides meals every day of the year.

We also offer a range of community services including advocacy, an ID bank, homeless outreach, a women’s transition house, a health clinic, a volunteer program and supported employment.
