Our community

It is important for our community to contribute to our programs and services because they are the recipients. Clients, tenants and members are the heart of who we are as an organization.

Whether it’s sitting on our Board of Directors or giving input at our Annual General Meeting, our community is welcome and encouraged to give feedback and evaluations on every service and program we offer.

Membership fee = $1 per year

Membership is available to anyone.

Being a member grants access to special events at The Kettle Society, such as our Annual Summer Picnic, January Dinner and Dance, Kettle Camping, and our Annual General Meeting. Members can choose if they participate in the Kettle’s lunch program or use our community’s services.

Here’s how you can get started:

    Stop by the drop-in, second floor at 1725 Venables Street

  2. Orientation and pay your $1 annual fee

    Your fee will be good for one year from the date you sign-up!

The Kettle Konnection

The Kettle Konnection Newsletter has been in print since 2013. Our committee is made up entirely of our members, working alongside staff. Want to submit a story, poetry, art, or photography? We are always accepting submissions from members and Kettle Housing tenants.
