Venables Drop-In Center

Looking for mental health support? The Kettle Society’s mental health Drop-In provides a place where vulnerable people can take refuge and socialize!

The Drop-In is open 365 days a year (over every holiday), and we serve nearly 30,000 meals every year. To make the Drop-In accessible, we keep the entry requirements as low-barrier as possible. Whether you’re already part of our community or just joining in, you’re always welcome. We look forward to getting to know you!

Since we are a Mental Health Drop-In Center, you will be required to provide us with information pertaining to your mental health in order to use our services or participate in the lunch program.

Please speak to our staff for more information. Our staff are friendly and will keep your personal information confidential.

How it works:
1) Stop by the 2nd floor of 1725 Venables Street (front entrance) on one of tax clinic dates

3) Your income taxes will be completed that day with a volunteer. We can only complete taxes for 2023 and 2024.

Please bring with you:
1) Your I.D.
2) Tax slips
