Writing group

Expressive writing can be a way for people to process, and heal from trauma. It can also be a way to express emotions, and share experiences. 

The Writing Group began in 2015 as part of our collaboration with the Vancouver Opera. Created alongside The Kettle Choir, the Writing Group created original songs and spoken word pieces for chamber musical, Requiem for a Lost Girl, which debuted in May, 2018.

The weekly writing sessions offer:

• A safe space to express yourself

• A place to create lasting friendships

• An opportunity to connect to support services
